With roughly 500 federal workers in Delaware, many families are looking for assistance as the partial federal shutdown continues. Below is a list of resources to help those impacted by the shutdown.

For federal workers, including many of our neighbors here in Delaware, bills don’t just stop coming because the federal government is shut down. We ought to do what we can to help these workers and their families.” — Governor John Carney

 Update – Jan 24, 2019: Governor John Carney announced a state-guaranteed, low-interest loan program to assist federal workers who are going unpaid during the federal government shutdown.  Call West End Neighborhood House at 302-658-4171, who can assist you in completing applications, and offer optional financial coaching services.
