This Is Delaware: Photo Contest on Instagram

The State of Delaware is launching an Instagram account, @Delaware_gov and to celebrate, we are starting a “This Is Delaware” photo contest on Instagram! The 1st place photo will be featured as the 1st picture on the 1st State’s new Instagram account. 

The winner will also receive an annual pass to Delaware State Parks and tickets to select local museums.

 

 

How to Submit

 
 

Photos We Are Looking For

We want to see good quality photographs showing your pride for the First State. This covers things like:

Beautiful scenes from across Delaware – like our beaches, forests, trails, farms, or waterways

Locations with local significance – historical buildings, architecture, iconic landmarks or features

Local events – town events, parades, or community gatherings

Your story – show us what Delaware means to you

 
 

Eligibility and Rules

Submissions will be judged by the Government Information Center (GIC) team, and we will contact the winner via Instagram Direct Message

If you win, you will need to provide your mailing address to us, so that we can send the prize by mail

The winner must reside in Delaware, and must be over the age of 18

Submit your photos before March 31st at 11:59pm EST to enter

Organization accounts can submit photos, but only personal accounts are eligible to win

Videos are welcomed

Multiple submissions are welcomed
